About the kitties...

Once upon a time, back in the spring of 2002, our paths magically happened to cross. We were sick of working boring corporate jobs and were determined to find a way to get paid for our creativity. One day, while strolling around downtown Fort Collins, we stumbled upon an amazing 100-year-old garage with a For Lease sign in the window. We called our future landlord that day to rent the wonderful space and Kansas City Kitty was born. We have done everything a little unconventionally and love to have fun without following anyone else's rules.

Our little shop is full of great clothing brands and handmade accessories made here locally. With walls covered in silly velvet paintings and clothing displays surrounded with funny retro knick knacks and figurines, Kansas City Kitty is fun, inviting and far from your average boutique.

In 2008, we expanded our shop to include this online store to introduce Kansas City Kitty to a new audience and allow our faraway fans to continue to shop from wherever they live now. Thanks for all your support!
